The problem

Why is industry still burning gas for heat?

Gas is cheapest today, and live grid electricity at peak rates is uneconomic for 24/7 process heat. A heat battery bridges that gap, and Lime|loop adds a second CO₂ revenue stream that helps the asset pay for itself.

A closed thermochemical loop using proprietary synthetic lime (CaO ↔ CaCO₃) to store energy in chemical bonds.

Charge

Off-peak electricity calcines the Lime|loop sorbent: CaCO₃ becomes CaO, storing energy chemically at high density.

Discharge

Releases 700–900°C process heat on demand, around the clock, straight into your existing infrastructure.

Capture

The same cycle captures CO₂ from the gas you still burn. Offset your ETS bill, or sell to an off-taker.
