My name is Paul, and I am a Non-Executive Director and Chair at Remedium. Since 2017, I have successfully launched three spin-out companies, each securing over £2 million in early-stage funding. With extensive experience in guiding startups through fundraising, commercialization, and strategic growth, I bring valuable insight and leadership to support Remedium’s mission and long-term success.

At Remedium, my primary focus is to provide strategic oversight, ensuring sound governance and guiding the company's long-term direction.

I have extensive experience in commercializing university spin-out companies, having successfully launched three spin-outs between 2017 and 2018, each raising over £2 million in early-stage funding. As Commercialisation Manager at Frontier IP Group Plc, I founded and led CamGraPhIC Ltd., a spinout from the University of Cambridge, where I secured over £3 million in equity funding and an additional £1.1 million in EU grants. I was also instrumental in launching Cambridge Raman Imaging Ltd., another Cambridge spinout, raising over £1.3 million and establishing a dedicated research lab with a team of scientists.

With a background in both chemistry and business — holding a BSc in Chemistry and an Executive MBA from Oxford Brookes Business School — I have spent much of my career supporting startups through fundraising, commercialization, and strategic growth. My global experience in the chemical and electronics sectors has equipped me with the skills to guide innovative technologies toward market success. As Chair of Remedium, I provide strategic oversight, ensuring sound governance and supporting the company's growth as we advance our carbon capture solutions.
